Robbie & Izzie
All Saints Church
The Garden Barn – Suffolk
6th May 2023
I think everyone will remember the 6th May. Yes it was the Kings Coronation, but it was also the wedding of the most beautiful and wonderful couple. As I am sure we all remember the rain did not stop all day, but this did not dampen the mood of the day. Robbie and Izzie embraced the rain and did not let it take anything away from their wedding day – if anything I think I got images that were even more fun and full of of laughter than I would if the sun had shone all day! Who needs the sun. Robbie and Izzie are a complete example that the rain doesn’t need to change anything on your day if you are happy to smile and embrace it.
With a constant Royal presence throughout the day the guests enjoyed flowing champagne in the warmth of the Garden barn whilst being entertained by a full brass band. Izzie and Robbie took the use of umbrellas to a new level and had all their group photo outside in the rain, and despite a few wet feet the marquee was buzzing with laughter. The whole tent erupted in clapping and laughter as Izzie and Robbie danced into and around the marquee.
After heart warming and hilariously witty speeches the guests grabbed umbrellas and headed outside into the dark for the much desired confetti. Shooting confetti in the pitch dark was a new one for me, but thankfully the combination of large white petals and off camera flash resulted in some fantastic pictures. This was not the end of the night as the guests then spent the rest of the night dancing and being fed shots from a ski. As you can imagine this resulted in a buzzing dance floor which carried on well into the night.
Thank you Robbie & Izzie for being the most fun and joy filled couple, and for accepting 100 uninvited umbrellas as part of your wedding day!
