Mr and Mrs GreenNewington House
17th August 2019
Stuart and Katies wedding just shone of happiness, colour and laughter through out the whole day. I loved every minute of it, and as I have been editing I have come across gem after gem of wonderful moments and images caught on camera. The day was an absolute dream, but most importantly Katie and Stuart were the most lovely couple.
Newington House is a private home set in the heart of Oxfordshire. Despite dating back many 100s of years and its stately appearance it is home to a welcoming and relaxed family who open it up for weddings weekly. The marquee by Papakata sits on the lawn with the house in the background over looking the Oxfordshire countryside.
As guest sipped their champagne Stuart, Katie and I took a walk round the ground for some stunning portraits. The grounds are filled with trees, sweet little bridges, vintage benches, a wonderful lake with a fantastic fountain, as well as a beautiful walled garden packed full of roses and colour. I could have kept Katie and Stuart out there for hours as everything caught my eye sparking the creative juices, but guests hate to be kept waiting too long for the bride and groom, so we headed back.
When dinner is announced the guests walk through the house getting a chance for a glimpse inside the stunning house, and down into the marquee. Wild Fork served up a feast of rare beef and delicious looking salads and this was all followed by cake stands packed full of a variety of little cakes. The guest washed it all down with champagne as they soaked up the speeches.
