Marquee in the Garden

What a day, What a day!! a pure joy to photograph. Henry and Lucy had the most fantastic wedding in early June. The videographer and I finished the night with so much footage we had to wish each other good Luck! – the day just gave and gave. After a beautiful ceremony at the Church Henry and Lucy accompanied by their little dog, led the guests through the field back to the reception where they were greeted by glasses of cold beer and champagne. We quickly grabbed a moment to make use of the beautiful garden before the guests descended.
The marquee was filled with trees, and laden with flowers. It looked absolutely beautiful and as the guests sat down for their 3 course meal they were bathed in evening sun. The summer sun beamed through the marquee as the guests were entertained to extremely funny and heart warming speeches. As the sun went down it treated us to the most gorgeous golden hour photo shoot. It wasn’t long until they were up on the dance floor being thrown up onto shoulders and Lucy made to prove she could still pull off multiple back flip’s! To everyones amazement and cheer she happily flipped her way across the dance floor to then be grabbed by an exuberant husband and swirled round on his shoulders. What a great day!
