I love York and having the chance to head back and photograph Alice and Edwards wedding was such a joy. The Merchant Adventure Hall is like going back 600 years in time. Original beams, floors and wonky walls that have supported and housed hundreds of years of people. As I sat downstairs and listened to the creeping old oak beams I found my mind wandering back hundreds of year imagining the the people and functions that have gone and passed over the years. As we entered the hall there was a welcome log fire blazing in the grate and Alice and Edward had the cosiest wedding with twinkling lights, candles adorning the hall, and beautiful Christmas trees in every corner.
