Charlie & Charlotte
St Kew Church
Rock
29th April 2023
I woke up on April 29th ready for Charlie and Charlottes wedding – looked outside to be greeting by thick fog! but in the war between fog and sun, the sun was the clear winner and shone victoriously though out the day. The beautiful Cornwall coast was displayed in all its glory!
Charlie’s day started with a brisk but refreshing swim in the sea while Charlotte enjoyed a sunny morning of make up and croissants. After a slap up meal and a pint in The Mariners, the ever popular Rock haunt, Charlie and the ushers headed to the beautiful Church of St Kew to welcome their guests. The church was packed full of stunning cherry blossom, tulips, and spring blooms. Charlotte was greeted by her little flower girls who mouths were open in wonder at how beautiful she looked. Once she had taken the time to hug each one individually, filling them with love and reassurance they were ready to walk in.
After the ceremony the sun was still keeping the clouds away and the celebrations were kicked off with confetti and farewells in a much loved MG. We grabbed a few minutes to walk along the coast path in Rock to get some wonderful atmospheric couple photos. Charlotte and Charlie returned to be greeted by all their guests enjoying full glasses of champagne and mouthfuls of warm breaded fish.
Well watered, fed, and entertained by heart warming speeches the party was started by clouds of confetti and the ever popular 29 Fingers who kept everyone dancing until midnight. What a wonderful day for all!!
